not booting
I just updated to the EPIA PX / ARTiGO 1.04 BIOS + WIDESCREEN.
I have a px10000g it has been working fine, but now when i go to boot it it shuts off after about 30 secs regardless of whether i am looking at the bios setup or waiting for it to boot xp. any ideas would be helpful. Any ideas?

I took a leap of faith and added it to the N0700104.BIN I had, flashed that and it worked!
Thanks to the original author, now I can tell VIA to go screw themselves. Never buying one of their boards again if I have any other option.

Good for you my friend. I have the similar issue, want to run nx15000g at 1680x1050, care to share that BIOS of yours?

Forget it, you don't need to change the bios at all if you want to run widescreen on your monitor, just disable the mini-LCD output in the S3 control panel, and widescreen resolutions become available.

Hi guys
First post here but I have uploaded a modified bios with widescreen support for the cl6000e mini-itx board if anyone wants to use it. As always use at your own risk and i am not responsible if you brick your board burn your house down or it becomes sentient and you become its slave.

Hi All!
I have been trying to modify a winnet P640 bios (wich is build on a VIA base) to support wide-screen (at least 800x480). The chip that has been used is a Unichrome 1 or Unichrome pro.
Is it possible to modify this bios or tell me how to? Simply replacing the 800x600 resolution to 800x480 (in hex) didn't work for me.
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Gobla

What I was looking for!!!
Thanks timschuerewegen.
You saved me from depression! I have a 7" widescreen monitor which required wide-screen resolutions using Windows XP (although when I attempted to boot with Windows CE, I did see widescreen resolutions after making the required registry changes in VIA BSP vga driver). Finally, luckly, I stumbled upon your post and attempted the BIOS update and hurray widescreens are available now. Thanks a lot.
