Smile Adhesives for VGA parts



Once you have used the glue on a vga ram sink is there a product you can buy to make an adhesive to glue the ram sink back on ?

Yes, it's called heat sink epoxy. Back in the day when I was modding ATI 9800Pro cards with RAM sinks, I made my own, not that I would advise you try it. It was hit and miss until I got the mix right. I think New Egg or Frys should have it.

Thanks I have Ram sinks for a Artic Accerlero Twin turbo that have been used and I need to find something to put them back on with

Make sure you use rubbing alcohol and clean them and the RAM chips really good. Whatever drying time the adhesive/ heat sink compound says, if you can, leave it another 12 hours. I used to put my cards in the oven at 100f. Never had a heat sink pop off.
