VIA AC'97 VT8233/A Enhanced Audio Controller
Hello
I reformatted my computer so i lost the sound card drivers.
I have a VIA AC'97 VT8233/A Enhanced Audio Controller and i downloaded the last VIA AC'97 VT8233/A package driver (version 7.00b) from your website: VIA Drivers and Support Packages ( VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.)
After installing the drivers i restarted my computer but i still dont have sound.
Also, i tried to install other drivers like the Vinyl AudioCodec V580c, but i couldnt fix the problem.
Could you help me with this please?

Your board uses a Realtek AC97 driver, not VIA. Look here: MSI PM8M2-V driver Scroll down the page a little.

If you go into the device manager it will show an error otherwise it will state this device is working probably.

Did you uninstall the VIA sound drivers before installing the Realtek drivers? There should be 2 speaker icons in the bottom right of the Tool Bar. The white one is the Windows volume control, and the orange on is the Realtek Sound Manager. Make sure the volume is not muted and is turned up. When you run Sound Manager, there is a speaker test function. And, if you unplug the speakers and plug them back in, The Realtek jack sensing utility will pop up with a message saying you just plugged in something, and will ask you to configure it.
